Atipamezolum hydrochloridum, nomen chemicum: 4-(2-ethyl-2-indan) imidazolum hydrochloridum.Atipamezole hydrochloride certatim alpha 2 receptores adrenergicos vetat, et est α2 receptor adrenergicus obstructor efficax, qui selective et certatim receptores α2 adrenergicos vetat.

Effectus pharmacologicus eius sedationem minuere, pressionem sanguinis inferiorem, pulsationem respiratorii et ratem augere, et effectus analgesicos obstructores adrenoceptores α2-adrenoceptores reducere, qui maxime in anesthesia post chirurgiae in animalibus receptam adhibentur.
